December 2009 Visitors
December 2, 2009: Inge Verhoef Lass '74 dropped by on her last day in Singapore before heading to Sydney to see her husband and son in the Bondi Beach area. Inge, a concert pianist, is hoping to share her music and love of SAS with SAS students in 2010, and has been working with the alumni office and HS Music Department Chair Steve Bonette to organize a possible visit/masterclass with SAS musicians. Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us Inge! See you again soon!

December 2, 2009: Lindsey Schertz Miller '03 and her husband Eric visited the alumni office today on their way to see Tate Sonnack '03 in the journalism lab. Lindsey and Eric were in town to visit Lindsey's father, who is on his second posting to Singapore. It was Lindsey's first trip back to Singapore since graduation, and Eric's first trip to Singapore ever! After almost two weeks in Singapore and Bintan, Lindsey and Eric were getting ready to return to Olathe, Kansas, where both are engineers for Garmin.

December 8, 2009: Schuyler Houser House ’97 was on campus today, visiting with admissions to see about the oldest of her three young daughter’s joining SAS next fall as an SAS kindergartner.  How exciting would that be to have the next generation attend SAS as well.  Schuyler lives in Singapore with her husband Stewart and their 3 children.
