March 4, 2009: Don Kabel '77 brought his kids by for a visit today. Don, who works for an oil company in Brunei, had an extended break and invited his kids to come from Canada to visit. The family visited Singapore for the first time, and was planning a long break in Bali after visiting SAS. Lucky kids! We walked around campus on a bright sunny day, a bit of a change from the cold Canadian winter they had just gone through.
After walking through the Memory Garden and testing the sundial, we walked over to Mr. Ho's cafeteria, where the Kabel family had lunch and Don shared his memories of the good old days. Using our new 'flip' video camera, we captured Don's Singapore food/Mr. Ho's cafeteria memories. You can see the video on our alumni youtube channel:

March 19, 2009: Had a great lunch with Carol Pernikar '88 today. She was too quick for my camera, so we didn't take a photo, but we had a good time walking around campus anyway! You'll have to take my word for it in the absence of a photo of Carol's smiling face. Carol left San Francisco, where she worked in advertising, to spend some time with her brother Harold '95, who is working in sales here in Singapore. Carol is having a great time exploring her old home and is considering a move back. Good luck to Carol!
